Description
POSIES offers Super Bell Axles for 1928-34 Fords, the industry standard for Hot Rod Axles. 4" dropped axles provide a 2" drop over a stock specification axle, when combined with a POSIES reverse eye SuperSlide Spring, drops of 5" can be attained to achieve the classic lowered Hot Rod stance. I-Beam axles provide traditional looks and help with a compliant ride while tube axles give you a smooth look.
Product Information:
- Narrow axles are used with fendered cars to provide adequate tire clearance
- Wide axles are best used with fenderless cars where tire clearance is not a concern
- Axle widths are measured king pin to king pin
- 2 1/4" Perch bosses are the most common. 2" is only required when using original Ford wishbones with 2" perch bosses
- 1932 Heavy axle is a stock height, reproduction axle used where a stock ride height is desired
- Tube Axles should not be used with wishbones, 4-bar and hairpins only. I-Beam axle flex/twists with wishbones where tube axles will not
